CVEN 4718 - Intermediate Soils Engineering

Summer 2010 Registration C E 4718
Continuation of CVEN 3708 into selected topics in soils engineering. Laboratory experiments are performed to assess index properties of soils including gradation, soil consistency and specific gravity; moisture/density relations; soil classification, permeability, compressibility; and shear strength of soils. These soil parameters are then used in a design project required for the course. Prereq/Coreq: CVEN 3708.Semester Hours: 2to 2
