This course focuses on analysis of case materials involving pleas, trials and sentences. Course content includes an examination of the basic dimensions of criminality, the specific elements of major crimes, the use of confessions, fair trial procedures and the nature of criminal sanctions including cruel and unusual punishments.Semester Hours: 3to 3
