EPSY 5500 - Student Teaching

Summer 2010 Registration EPSY 5500
Involves an extended period (usually one school year) of apprenticeship teaching under the daily supervision of mentor/master teachers. Over time, the student discusses teaching strategies with the mentor and a university supervisor–and takes on increasing responsibility for the conduct of the classroom. Prereq: Enrollment in a teacher licensure program.Semester Hours: 2to 4
