FILM 2500 - Introduction to Screenwriting for Film and Television

Summer 2010 Registration FILM 2500
Students learn the basic elements of the craft of creating a script for film or television through exercises such as idea generation, characters, and scene setting. Genre conventions, three act structure, and other foundation elements are addressed for future work. Note: ENGL 1020, ENGL 2030 or ENGL 2154 are recommended. TFVP majors and minors only, or permission of instructor. Prereq: TFVP 1550.Semester Hours: 3to 3
