MECH 3145 - Manufacturing Processes Design

Summer 2010 Registration M E 3145
Basic manufacturing background will be provided to engineering students in order to: (1) apply manufacturing specifications to the design of mechanical devices, and (2) communicate with technical personnel in a production environment. Topics cover metal casting, bulk and sheet metal forming, material removal and joining and fastening processes. Prereq: MECH 1025.Semester Hours: 3to 3
