PMUS 2100 - Music Theory III

Summer 2010 Registration PMUS 2100
Exposes students to the theoretical aspects of Western European classical music from the Baroque period to the Classical period. Emphasis is placed on the melodic aspects of classical music including the creation of melody and the combining of melodies into polyphonic structures. Prereq: PMUS 1200 and PMUS 1210. Coreq: PMUS 2110 and PMUS 1023.Semester Hours: 3to 3
