FILM 3080 - History of Sound Film Production

Students learn various film genres from early sound period, through the present. Traces the development of the various Hollywood genres- and examines representative Hollywood films and major developments of American films from the post-studio period and filmmakers in other cultures. Note: TFVP majors and minors only, or permission instructor. Prereq: TFVP 1100.Semester Hours: 3to 3
