CPCE 5010 - Counseling Theories

Focuses on counseling theories: Psychodynamic, Adlerian, Person-Centered, Existential, Behavioral, including DBT, Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, & Reality Therapy. Also includes an overview of the history of the counseling profession and the role and function of counselors in various settings. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
