MATH 4576 - Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence I Infrequent. Fundamentals course that complements other approaches, such as in engineering, psychology, and business administration. Here, the emphasis is on the mathematical foundations. Topics include logical inference, problem solving, heuristic search, neural search, neural nets, analogical reasoning and learning. Models and paradigms also consider different measures of uncertainty. Prereq: CSCI 2511, MATH 2511/3000 and 3191. Cross-listed with MATH 5576. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
