MATH 5014 - Statistical Knowledge for Teaching A problem-based statistics seminar aimed at secondary teachers. Topics include: the central limit theorem, the law of large numbers, probability, measures of central tendency and variability, sampling distributions, regression, and hypothesis testing. Note: Does not count toward a graduate degree in applied mathematics. Prereq: MATH 3800 or permission of instructor. Cross-listed with MATH 4014. Semester Hours: 1 to 1
