ANTH 3008 - Contemporary World Problems: An Anthropological Perspective This course examines contemporary problems confronting humanity from an anthropological perspective - a historical, holistic and comparative framework that will be used to critically assess these issues and identify forces driving them. Problems to be addressed include climate and environmental change, resource depletion, and poverty and inequality. Prereq: Upper-division undergraduate standing and/or permission of the instructor.
