COMM 5015 - Communication and Civility Examines the central role of communication in the creation and humane society. The definition, understanding, and practices of civility in public discourse and in professional, social, and personal relationships are explored. Film, literature, music, and other texts are utilized to illustrate key concepts and serve as catalysts for discussion. Prereq: Undergraduates with senior standing may enroll with permission of instructor. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
